Odgis + Co is honored to have had the opportunity to design the GCA 2021 Annual Report for the 5th year. A leader in the heavy civil construction industry here in New York, General Contractors Association takes pride in the active participation of their members and companies. Sharing the positive and very tangible impact their industry and members have had, and will continue to have, this year and beyond in helping our city and our region Recover, Rebuild, Renew, and Reconnect. The GCA has a long and storied history of using their collective strength to overcome challenges and obstacles, allowing them to live up to the century-old claim – “We Build New York.”

Recover, Rebuild, Renew, Reconnect

As Post-COVID America begins to take shape, the opportunity to renew major pieces of the city’s infrastructure – after much of that work had been put on hold – has taken on a greater sense of urgency. GCA Members and their 25,000 employees continue to answer that call. Their work renewing existing road, rail, and water systems to streamline daily travel and continuous efforts providing uninterrupted utilities that sustain millions of families, households, and businesses, has been at the core of keeping New York’s economy percolating over the last year.

Publication Overview

Odgis+Co’s designs bring this positive story to life as NYC reinvigorates. This publication gives the reader a peek at what is going on in the infrastructure of the city. Delightful illustrations and infographics combined with photographs of their current projects in development and members come to life on the pages. Clean, colorful layouts simplify and capture the spirit of NYC as it comes back to life. It was a pleasure to work with the GCA team to create this publication that will help to unify its members and celebrate their good work.
